Akari Shogun

While it’s not currently in year-round production any more, Akari Shogun remains one of my favorite beers and favorite beer designs. It’s not often one gets commissioned to combine some of their more insistent fixations, in this case, Japanese style and animal hybrids. And I especially enjoyed seeing the branded truck rolling through my neighborhood regularly. (It is now a Vallejo-branded truck, which is also not a bad thing.)
